We played a very successful New Order cover-set the other night that had the room filled and singing along.

Numerous accolades for the Joanna Newsom tribute compilation, Versions of Joanna, have been appearing. Some say our version of 'Autumn' that we contributed is very haunting and odd. I like those descriptions.

Here is the November re-release of Kid Moloch, originally released to the internet in July.

This version has new cover art and a new track.

TRACKLISTING:

the first track, 'breather', is a short noise track composed of a clip from one of our live bootlegs and a sample of trance-breathing.

the second track, 'disappearer', was recorded in september of 2009, over a year ago, as an acoustic guitar and vocal piece. the song dates back to the fall of 2008, intended for a different band/project.

the third track, 'kid moloch', is taken from yet another mis-mixed soundboard recording from a show in late april of 2010. it is our in-between-tunings improv that happens sometimes.

the fourth track, 'i've got a little crush on satan', is taken from the same botched soundboard recording that Trois Ganymedes was culled from. The track is comprised of a performance of our song 'pallbearer' and segues into our cover of bjork's 'hunter'.

last night's show with Blissed Out and Lord-Farmer went expceptionally well. I screamed quite some and bled a bit and we got compared to Swans, which is always flattering.
the setlist went as follows:

Our show that is scheduled to be with Gem Club and Julianna Barwick is up in the air for the moment. It will most likely still be in november, but possibly later.

More updates to follow.

When is our record going to be made? We don't even know. But it's all written and done.

VERSIONS OF JOANNA, the Joanna Newsom tribute record that we are being included on, is set for a release in december. When we are told it is ok to leak more info, we will.

we're going to be included on a very big tribute compilation titled VERSIONS OF JOANNA whose proceeds go to OXFAM to help the Pakistani flood victims. We chose to do the song 'Autumn'. Some big names are on this, but mum is a word for now.
